Glu Mobile, the leader of these types of games, has released Katy Perry Pop for Android and iOS.

Plot

The story in Katy Perry Pop is just a pretext for the game and is not too captivating. We play as a person who wants to become a pop star. The path will not be easy, but we can count on the help of the titular singer, Katy Perry, known for such hits as Roar, Dark Horse, Last Friday Night or Part Of Me.

Mechanics

The gameplay inKaty Perry Pop, available on AND and iOS, is divided into a number of different activities. One of the basic ones is to take care fo your character's appearance. We can dress our character in a variety of clothes bought during the adventure. Besides that, you also have to record songs, make music videos and perform in front of the audience at concerts. One of the additional elements is the so-called Katy Vision. When this feature is enabled, the game's world changes dramatically allowing us to see it from Katy's perspective. Everything becomes colourful and a little bit... strange. The game also offers you the option to connect the game with Google Play or Facebook. After that, you will be able to track your friends' progress and help each other in your career.

Technical aspects

The graphic design in Katy Perry Pop, available on AND and iOS, is extremely similar to Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. This means that the game uses a cartoon style.
