Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. Legends of Eisenwald is set in a world combining both the medieval reality and legends. The story focuses on typical human motivations such as greed, lust for power, or desire for revenge. The gameplay centers mostly on exploring locations, gathering treasures, and fighting battles.

Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate

The first official expansion for Heroes of Might and Magic V. The add-on was developed by Russian studio Nival Interactive. The most important new addition in the Hammers of Fate expansion pack is a new race, the dwarves, who actively join the conflict in the world of Ashan. The new race not only adds their legendary combat skills to the gameplay, but a rich set of spells as well. A story campaign consisting of 15 large missions is related to the dwarves.

When it comes to mechanics, the gameplay isn’t at all different from what we could've seen in the other major entries of the series.

As the title suggests, the expansion focuses on introducing new diplomacy-related elements into the game.
