Simulation games. These titles put emphasis on simulating authentic (or fictional) actions in the most realistic manner possible. They allow the player e.g. to control civil (digger, crane, bus) or military vehicles (plane, tank, warship). Jalopy

An unusual simulation game developed by one of the former developers of the F1 series. Jalopy takes us to Eastern Europe of the late 80s and early 90s, just after the fall of communism. In the game, we sit behind the wheel of a fictional car called Laika 601 Deluxe, which was modeled after the famous DDR’s Trabant. The player’s task is to use the economical inequalities in various European countries in order to earn money quickly.
Fernbus Simulator

Yet another simulation game developed by TML-Studios. The game has been created in cooperation with FlixBus - one of the largest intercity coach operators in Germany. Fernbus Simulator allows the players to assume the role of a bus driver shuttling between several metropolises that include Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Dortmund. Apart from driving the vehicle, the player has to tend to a number of other things, such as selling tickets.

Just like the add-ons to the previous games from the series, Get to Work introduces new features to the base game, focusing on the work aspect of our Sims' life. There are three possible career paths available: police officer, scientist, and a doctor. Like in real life, we begin as a regular employee and climb the career ladder until we get what we want.

A virtual version of one of the largest American metropolises was created on the basis of a real topographic layout of the city. The game world is vibrant with its own life, and its inhabitants have been equipped with artificial intelligence, so that we never know exactly what will surprise us during the ride.

Elite is a space aviation simulator, created in 1982 by students of Cambridge University - David Braben and Ian Bell. The player takes on the role of a star pilot through the dangerous corners of the galaxy. The PC version of the title was released in 1987 and was the first game with three-dimensional graphics on this hardware platform.

The Babylon Project

A simulator set in a science fiction world. The game tries to transfer the world of a popular TV series called Babylon 5 into a game called Freespace 2. Initially, the game functioned as a modification for that game, however, over time it became a full – although free – game. Similarly to the original, The Babylon Project is an arcade space simulator. However, the difference here is that names of all ships, proper names and plots of all scenarios refer to the aforementioned TV series.
