35MM

35MM is a post-apocalyptic first-person adventure game. The game is set in a reality in which the majority of humanity has died out as a result of an epidemic of a dangerous disease. The game boasts an interesting atmosphere and attractive visuals. Russian independent producer Sergey Noskov (creator responsible for the horror The Train and philosophical The Light) is responsible for its creation.

Plot

The action of 35MM takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has been decimated by a deadly disease. The plot tells the story of two travellers who traverse desolate Russian towns and metropolises, trying to survive in the dangerous wilderness.

Mechanics

In 35MM we observe the action from FPP. The gameplay consists primarily of exploring the three-dimensional game environment. Sergey Noskov has prepared various locations - towns, forests, wilderness, and even an abandoned underground complex.

While travelling, we collect items, solve tasks and discover various secrets, as well as fragments of the main plot. The protagonist also has a camera, which enables him to capture discovered places in photos. In 35MM it is also important to obtain various resources, such as food, batteries and weapons - the latter are from time to time used to defend the life and health of our hero (and his companion).

It is worth noting that during the game we will also make decisions that have an impact on the plot (the creator has prepared several different endings).

Game modes

We can only play 35MM solo. There are no multiplayer modes in the game - the mainstay is the story campaign.

Technical aspects

35MM features very attractive three-dimensional visuals, which were created thanks to the use of the popular Unity engine. The biggest advantage of this production is the atmosphere - abandoned cities, wilderness and forests look spectacular, giving the impression of places truly abandoned, and at the same time often still bearing traces of an old, splendorous civilization. Nothing bad can be said of the character models and the system responsible for realistic lighting. The game is accompanied by a pleasant, atmospheric soundtrack.
