Aer is an unusual action adventure game released on PS4, PC and XONE. The player assumes the role of a shapeshifting girl and he travels through an intriguing, surrealistic world in search for memories and pieces of an ancient prophecy. The title was developed by an independent Swedish studio Forgotten Key, founded in 2011 by four students from Karlshamn.

Plot

In the game the player assumes the role of a girl named Auk, who – similarly to many other members of her tribe – is able to transform into a bird. Her task is to help her kin by gathering resources and discovering ancient technologies. As the game progresses, Auk discovers new pieces of an ancient prophecy that warns about the incoming end of the world. She discovers what her role in the story is.
