AiRace is a proposal of the QubicGames development team addressed to fans of air racing in a strongly arcade edition. The production was created as a development of ideas from AiRace: Tunnel.

Players play the role of pilots taking part in exciting aviation competitions. The races are to select a pilot master, who is not afraid to fly through narrow caves, dense jungle or crowded city center. The rivalry is enhanced by the possibility of using tricks and dirty plays, which allow you to gain an advantage over your competitors.

During the game, players can pilot nine models of airplanes (from three separate classes), which differ not only in appearance, but also in basic technical parameters such as speed or maneuverability and special features. Their capabilities can be further developed through the points they earn for winning races and knocked off rivals' machines.

The game is based on simple mechanisms. The player's task is to reach the finish line as quickly as possible, bypass obstacles and fight against rivals controlled by artificial intelligence or live opponents. During the struggle there is a possibility of using various power-ups, which allow you to gain a temporary advantage over your competitors.

From the technical point of view, AiRace is based on the capabilities of the Qubic Games studio's proprietary engine. It offers impressive (for Nintendo DS console) 3D graphics, as well as support for multiplayer mode based on local WiFi connection. Also noteworthy is the control system, which allows you to fly planes using the touch screen of the console.
