game release date for PC:
Aircraft Carrier Survival is a set in the realities of the Second World War, a strategic simulator in which we play the role of the commander of a powerful aircraft carrier. The production offers an extensive gameplay, requiring many different decisions to be made. The Polish CreativeForge Games studio (creators of Phantom Doctrine, Hard West or Ancient Space) is responsible for the creation and release of this title.
The Aircraft Carrier Survival takes place during the Second World War - the biggest conflict in human history. Air and naval units were of key importance for the war.
In Aircraft Carrier Survival our task is to efficiently manage the aircraft carrier. The game of this title may evoke associations with such games as Fallout Shelter or This War of Mine. We often observe our ship from the side (from the side-scroll perspective), clearly seeing what is happening in individual rooms.
The game consists mainly in making decisions and giving specific orders to all crew members. We must also take care of our ship in a broader, strategic perspective - we must take care of the morale and recruit the right people for the various positions. The passage of further missions also requires the pursuit of their specific objectives.
The real game takes place when our ship takes part in the battle. We must then deal with the consequences of enemy attacks - extinguish fires, repair damage resulting from air and torpedo attacks, and cut off sections filled with water. The danger can also appear on the ship itself - in the form of saboteurs, revolts, and even nervous breakdown of crew members.
In Aircraft Carrier Survival we can only play alone. The game does not offer any multiplayer modes - the basis of the game is a single player campaign.
Aircraft Carrier Survival has a rather average three-dimensional graphic design. The oceans look quite realistic and the different models of aircraft and ships resemble their prototypes from the real world, but technological shortcomings - poor texture and lighting, for example - mean that the end result is not as good as it could be. However, the game skillfully reflects the atmosphere of the Second World War.
