Crash Time III is the third installment of the popular series of arcade games, also known as Alarm for Cobra 11. The franchise is based on the popular criminal action show Alarm for Cobra 11, produced by the German RTL TV.

In Crash Time III the creators introduced a few quite significant innovations in relation to previous installment. First of all, they decided to remodel the archaic structure of the main story mode. In the third part we are once again facing a powerful terrorist organisation, but this time the way to solve the riddles and bring the story to a happy ending is different. This includes placing interludes between the chases, during which we interrogate the captured villains and try to get as much information from them as possible. Collecting and connecting facts helps us in subsequent tasks and results in gaining access to various secrets and extras (e.g. better vehicles).

The next most important thing is the developed artificial intelligence of the opponents, who dynamically consider all possible escape routes, making various calculations. They take into account not only the distance from point A to point B, but also the conditions on the road - when sitting behind the wheel of a sports car the AI will avoid contact with bumpy dirt roads. The physics of the game world has also been improved. This applies, of course, especially to vehicles that react better to crashes and contact with the environment. The driving model, however, still is mostly arcade, thanks to which it enhances the dynamic action and uniqueness of the chases.

Crash Time III offers about fifty missions, a world of nearly 32 square kilometres, more than 200 kilometres of roads and motorways, as well as a nice three-dimensional visuals showing the beautiful German landscapes and urban areas.
