An MMORPG similar to games such as Throne and Liberty, Aion, or Black Desert. In Architect: Land of Exiles we explore a vast fantasy world, participating in dynamic battles with opponents using a non-target combat system. There are also a lot of quests to be completed.
The announcement of the MMORPG titled Architect: Land of Exiles has provided global recognition for the South Korean team Aqua Tree. While creating this project, the developers were inspired by the giants of the genre, led by games like Black Desert, Aion, and Throne and Liberty.
In Architect: Land of Exiles we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP).
The game gives us an open world at our disposal, which we explore in the skin of our character. Apart from exploration on foot, the game allows flying, swimming and using mounts. The engine of the gameplay are quests pushing the plot forward and side missions, accompanied by special skill challenges, random events, and dungeons, which we can venture into for unique rewards.
The game allows us to choose the gender and class, as well as decide on the appearance of our character. We can play as a warrior (best at close combat), a sorceress (using elemental magic), a battle priest (equipped with both offensive and defensive spells), an assassin (armed with daggers and able to sneak around), and a hunter (shooting enemies with a bow).
Dynamic clashes with opponents are the salt of the gameplay here. The game uses a non-target combat system, so we launch attacks without the need to pre-target the enemy. On the battlefield, we must be on the move, perform dodges and skillfully use the character's abilities. We face both standard opponents and powerful bosses.
Architect: Land of Exiles transports us to a fantasy world devastated by a cataclysm called the Flood. The story told in the game revolves around the mysterious Tower of Giants, which hovers over the entire land (or rather, what's left of it).
Architect: Land of Exiles can only be played in multiplayer mode via the Internet.
Architect: Land of Exiles uses the Unreal Engine 5.
