Arms Trade Tycoon: Tanks PC

Arms Trade Tycoon: Tanks is a simulation strategy game that allows us to design our own tanks and sell them to various customers. The game can be tested as a free demo, and it was developed by FunGi studio.

Mechanics

We start by choosing one of the available countries, where our factory will be located - we got among others Great Britain, Germany or France. We receive a small initial budget and all the buildings needed to run the company. As we develop our business, we improve our statistics, such as recognition, number of employees, developed technologies, etc., which increases our chances of winning more contracts.

There are several types of buildings in the game. The first contains a research room. By clicking on the appropriate board, we can choose which technology our employees will deal with. It has been divided into three development trees: firepower, mobility and construction. Developing each of these allows you to use better parts when building a tank.

In the workshop, we construct the parts needed to create machines. Depending on what technologies we have developed, we get here different options to choose from. Then we move to the design stage. During this process, we select, one by one, various parts of the tank, starting from the chassis, through the barrel, to additional guns, engine and so on. The quality of selected segments affects the price and production time of the tank, but allows you to sell them at higher prices. Each of our creations can be tested in battle by watching special battlefield footage.

We handle organizational issues in the administration building. There we have an exact overview of our finances and the employees. Each of them has to receive a salary, so we have to make sure that we have enough money to pay them. If the cost of maintaining them becomes too high, we can also fire them. However, this makes the pace of work slower and reduces the number of people we can employ in the future.

In order for the above actions to be executed, after issuing the commands, we need to speed up the time using the appropriate function. At any time we move to the world map, where the markets available to our company are shown. On each of them we present our offer to potential customers - we determine what tanks we're ready to sell them, in what number and at what price. Our reputation, in turn, influences positively or negatively the consideration of the offer. Regularly, random events happen to us, such as the appearance of a new competitor, gaining information about some new technology or the opening of another market due to the geopolitical situation.

Game modes

There are two game modes: sandbox and historical. In historical mode our actions are influenced by all kinds of historical events from 1914 and later, while in sandbox mode we get full freedom of action and we don't have to face these additional factors.

Technical aspects

Arms Trade Tycoon: Tanks contains a huge number of available parts, all of which are unique. Thanks to this, the game looks decent in terms of graphics.
