An arena survival type of game, in which we face off against hordes of enemies serving the titular forces of Asgard known from the Nordic mythology. Asgard’s Fall: Viking Survivors allows us to play as different characters, like a warrior or a huntress. We can develop them over the course of the game and unlock their new skills and perks.

Asgard's Fall: Viking Survivors is an arena survival game - a title on the border of roguelikes, action games, and bullet hell shooters with RPG elements. The story is set in a universe inspired by Norse mythology. The game was developed by the independent German studio Soulpotion and at the time of its premiere, it was the biggest undertaking in the team's portfolio.

In Asgard's Fall: Viking Survivors we watch the action from a bird's eye view.

Characters and their mission

Available characters are differentiated in terms of fighting style and preferred weaponry. They include a warrior or a huntress. By embodying them, we engage in battle with the forces of the titular Asgard, represented by dozens or even hundreds of units attacking us at the same time. The key to success on the battlefield is to keep moving (to avoid being surrounded) and skillfully use abilities, weapons (attacking in close combat or at a distance), and the strengths of the controlled heroes.

Character development

As we progress, we unlock new skills and also improve the ones we already have. Thanks to them, we can not only increase the combat potential of our character, but also personalize them, adapting them to an individual style of play. There is also a so-called Web of Wyrd, used to unlock useful perks that provide us with various enhancements.
