A VR, first-person spin-off of Assassin's Creed. Assassin’s Creed: Nexus VR has us reliving the memories of Kassandra, Ezio Auditore and Connor Kenway, trying to solve the mystery of the artifacts they've hidden.
Assassin's Creed: Nexus VR is an action game and a spin-off of the Assassin's Creed series. It was developed by Ubisoft, for virtual reality sets.
The protagonist of Assassin's Creed: Nexus VR is Dominika Wilk, a talented hacker and part of the Assassin brotherhood. Acting as a mole within Abstergo (the Templars), Wilk must unravel the mystery of artifacts hidden by Kassandra, Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Connor Kenway, the protagonists of previous installments. To achieve her goal, she must delve into their memories.
Assassin's Creed: Nexus VR is a first-person game. We control each of the Assassins the memories of whom Wilk is reliving. The game is set in ancient Greece, Renaissance Italy and North America during the independence war. To complete our objectives, we must traverse diverse, colorful areas and fight enemies.
The game is heavily influenced by the series' previous installments. The characters are all extremely agile and adept at parkour, able to easily overcome obstacles, climb the environment, wielding melee weapons, ranged weapons and deadly gadgets. Combat is fast-paced, requiring proper reflexes, well-timed parries and accurate attacks. There's also plenty of sneaking around and shanking enemies with a hidden blade.
The developers did their best to adapt the game to virtual reality sets. Players can automate parkour and move around the areas by teleporting. There are also some accessibility features - filters that narrow the field of view and a special function for acrophobes, laying a special grid over the game when we're under threat of falling.
Assassin's Creed: Nexus VR features high-quality visuals, retaining the series' colorful artstyle.

Game Ratings for Assassin's Creed: Nexus VR Video Game.
GamesHub: 4 / 5 by Leah Williams
In balancing each of its aspects, Ubisoft makes a solid case for VR games to be far more ambitious in scope, going forward. From wandering through the Vault of Odysseus, to letting off fireworks in the heart of Venice, to solving interplanetary Myst-like environment puzzles and flinging yourself across deadly dungeon caverns, there’s plenty of awe-inspiring novelty in this journey.
IGN: 7 / 10 by Travis Northup
Assassin’s Creed Nexus is an impressively complete Ubisoft game, even if not all those parts stick the landing in VR.
Gameffine: 90 / 100 by Uphar Dutta
Assassin’s Creed Nexus is a brilliant VR experience for an Assassin’s Creed game. It revisits famous titles, helps fans reconnect to the character they had always enjoyed playing, and takes it a step further. The VR experience pushes the boundary of making you experience the real struggle of jumping onto ledges and grabbing edges, and also ducking around the corners gathering intel is guaranteed to make every AC Fan bring a tear to their eye with joy. The story is quite Mid, and the graphics are limited to what the Quest can do; the game still plays smoothly with significant structures and sights to behold.
