A point & click adventure game with many similarities to Blade Runner. Au Revoir takes us to the future where transferring consciousness to synthetic brains become possible. The protagonist of the game discovers that his own brain may have serious errors. We talk to NPCs, explore locations and solve puzzles.
Au Revoir is a point & click adventure game, reminiscent of the cult classic Blade Runner, among others. The development of this game was handled by the independent Invisible Studios from Brazil.
The action of Au Revoir takes place in 2071. Thanks to the titular company, it became possible to transfer consciousness to synthetic brains and install these in various bodies. During the game we play as Tristan, one of the guards working for Au Revoir, whose task is to recover such information.
Things get complicated when the protagonist discovers errors in his own synthetic brain. In this way, Tristan becomes involved in a conspiracy and a whirlwind of events, the further course of which will largely be shaped by our actions and choices.
In Au Revoir we watch the action from various "cinematic" shots. We explore the metropolis illuminated by neon lights and talk to its inhabitants, who vary in terms of personality and hidden secrets. Moreover, we regularly have to solve puzzles that involve interacting with elements of the environment, as well as using various devices. From time to time, the game forces us to make decisions that affect the fate of our character and the end of his adventure.
The graphic design of Au Revoir is maintained in a style inspired by productions from the 1990s.
