Auto Warriors, available on AND and iOS, is a turn-based car battle game set in post-apocalyptic world. The game was released in a free-to-play model with microtransactions and is the debut work of the Gunjin Games team, founded by people who previously worked on projects such as Split/Second and Re-Volt.

Plot

The game doesn't offer an extensive plot. Players focus on driving heavily armed cars and participating in a murderous rivalry in specially designed large arenas. We can learn a little bit about the game's story between fights - the things we learn focus mainly on explaining what led the Earth to transform itself into a post-apocalyptic hell.

Mechanics

Auto Warriors, available on AND and iOS, uses a turn-based system, but it works a little differently than in other games. The participants do not make their movements alternately. Instead, each turn lasts only a few seconds. All participants give their orders at the same time, and then they are executed at the same time. This makes skirmishes more dynamic and it forces players to anticipate their rivals' moves, not just to react to their moves.

During the game, we can choose from a wide range of different maneuvres and attacks, and the maps are full of interactive elements, such as ramps and traps. The gameplay is additionally enhanced by the system of building and improving cars. Each car can be constructed practically from scratch - we choose a frame, wheels, armour, weapons, additional gadgets and design patterns. In total, there are several hundred thousand possible combinations.

Game modes

Auto Warriors offers a single player campaign with 150 missions. The game also features online PvP battles where you can test your skills against other players.
