Autobahn Police Simulator 2

Autobahn Police Simulator 2 for PC gives an opportunity to take on the role of a traffic officer working in Germany. The game brings a continuation to Autobahn Police Simulator (2015) and it was developed by Z-Software; Aerosoft GmbH is the publisher of this game.

Mechanics

Autobahn Police Simulator 2 recreates daily work of traffic police serving on German highways, and the game focuses on doing so in a realistic manner. The single-player campaign comprises 20 story missions complemented by animated scenes with voiced-over dialogues.

Apart from the main storyline, the player can take part in side activities. Among them, one will find many different operations, such as exciting chases, accident reports, convoy assignments or inspections (the player will be also searching cars). Completing such missions allows the player to climb the police hierarchy. One traverses the highways using three vehicles: a marked police car, an unmarked one, and a police van. Each of these was faithfully recreated, with the inclusion of such details as siren sounds changing depending on the mission the player is currently completing.

The police station present in the game constitutes a novelty. The player begins the game here and this is where fellow police officers reside. Alongside progression, the player can upgrade the station, which in turn, unlocks subsequent assignments, equipment (cars as well) and capabilities (for instance, a helicopter serving the role of a support unit during missions).

Autobahn Police Simulator 2 for PC comes with a complex character creation tool – thanks to this, the player can choose their gedner and modify both appearance (face, physique) and apparel.

Technical aspects

Autobahn Police Simulator 2 for PC offers simple, 3D visuals. The graphics are far behind of the present-day standards.
