Aviassembly is a sandbox simulation game in which we construct our own airplanes. We can also sit behind their controls and fly them around the game world. The development of this game was done by independent developer Jelle Booij, who has an economic strategy game titled TasteMaker in his portfolio.

Gameplay

The core of the gameplay in Aviassembly is creating our own machines.

Designing airplanes and the flight model

The entire design process is not just about deciding on the appearance of individual aircraft and the type of engines installed in them. The choices we make affect a range of parameters of individual planes, such as flight characteristics (flying a biplane is different from flying a modern jet engine aircraft), weight, fuel tank capacity, or cargo space.
