The Polish studio Play2Chill debuted on the industry map as creators of simulation games - Rally Mechanic Simulator and Motorcycle Mechanic Simulator 2021. Nevertheless, the developers did not intend to limit themselves exclusively to this genre, as evidenced by the production described here, namely the city builder titled Aztecs: The Last Sun.

Gameplay

In Aztecs: The Last Sun we end up in Mesoamerica and take control of the Aztec city-state of Tenochtitlan. Our task is to maintain the development of this metropolis from the 13th to the 16th century. This is not easy, because its location on an island in the middle of Lake Texcoco means that we must constantly maintain the trade route that connects it with the outside world.

Constructing the Aztec metropolis

We watch the action from a bird's eye view, and all matters related to the functioning of the metropolis rest on our shoulders. We need to construct buildings and connect them with a network of roads, gather resources and create complex production chains, develop technology, as well as take care of the needs of the residents and fulfill their whims. Diplomacy and responding to events occurring in the game world also play an important role. Same goes with recruiting soldiers, so as not to be surprised by outside threats.
