A free-to-play MOBA game with elements taken from roguelikes. BAPBAP allows us to control diverse and crazy characters, such us a goldfish using a mech or a Russian samurai. We participate in chaotic arena duels, using various weapons and unlocking random skills.

BAPBAP is a MOBA type production, enriched with elements taken from the roguelike genre. The game was developed by the independent studio BAP HQ, and is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Gameplay

In BAPBAP we watch the action from a bird's eye view. The pillar of this game are fast matches in arenas, during which we fight for victory with up to seven other people. We make use of a wide range of melee and ranged weapons in the game, as well as combat skills. The gameplay is dynamic and the fights on the battlefield often descend into difficult-to-manage chaos.

Characters and skills

The game provides us with a range of characters varied in terms of appearance, preferred weaponry and fighting style, as well as combat skills. The list includes an overgrown duck, a goldfish controlling moss, a Russian samurai, and even a walking ramen. Throughout the subsequent rounds, we unlock random skills and it's up to us whether we try to create a reasonably rational build based on them, or if we opt for total madness.

Arenas

This is not the end, as the arenas are not just the background for the next battles. We can find interactive environmental elements and objects on them that can be used to our advantage. For example, by dropping a load from a crane, we block the escape route for our enemies, while sitting behind the controls of a Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger tank, we can start to sow panic among our opponents.
