Battle Skylands is a free mobile strategy game developed by Polish studio BAAD Games, which some people may be know from Chicken Fly!. As in other items of this type, the game is available for free, but thanks to microtransactions we can speed up some processes, thus making the game easier. The title requires a permanent connection to the Internet for operation.
Story
The action of the game takes place in the title Skylands, a land composed of islands flying high among the clouds. Players take on the role of one of the inhabitants of this magical land, whose task is to fight for a better life, power and honour.
Mechanics
In general, the title resembles such hits as Clash of Clans or Lords Mobile. The game focuses on several main aspects - collecting resources, contructing buildings and combat. The first of them is the classic trio of stone, wood and iron. These elements are necessary for the development of our village and castle. The growth of the estate means that we can take in new residents, who increase the acquisition of resources. In addition, we can get them by taking over the nearby islands. In this way, we constantly grow in strength, level up the castle, which enables us to erect new buildings, and protect ourselves against possible attacks from enemies.
The comba takes place in real time. Players control several different units, such as the spear-armed Amazon, typhoon missile-weilding Bomberman and Tirana, who is perfect for destroying enemy buildings. In addition, during combat we can use spells, enabling us to resurrect the dead or attack with fire.
Game modes
Battle Skylands offers soth single player missions and multiplayer games. In the latter case we can not only fight against other players, but also help allies from the clan. There are also individual and clan rankings.
