Blitzkrieg 3 for PC is the third main installment in the highly regarded real-time strategy game series, Blitzkrieg, whose first two parts came out for PC in years 2003-2005. It was developed by the creators of the original game, the Russian studio Nival Entertainment, which previously created such acclaimed titles as Heroes of Might and Magic V, King’s Bounty: Legions, Silent Storm as well as the Rage of Mages and the Etherlords series. Contrary to the initial plans to release Blitzkrieg 3 as a free-to-play production, the game was eventually released in regular business model, devoid of any micropayments, which significantly enhances the gameplay comfort.

Story

Just like its predecessors, Blitzkrieg 3 is set during the World War II. In the single player campaign we have an opportunity to follow the most important events of years 1939-1945, starting with the invasion of Poland up to the siege of Berlin. In the game, we can try out each of the three factions that took part in this grand conflict, namely the Soviet Union, the Axis, and the western Allies.
