Bloody 2D platformer designed primarily for multiplayer fun. Players direct the actions of four friendly cats, which try to break through another dangerous place in the title land of traps. Game was produced by independent studio 2play.se.
Bloody Trapland is the first commercially released production by the Swedish developer studio 2play.se. Inspired by classic, two-dimensional platformers with a multiplayer gameplay option.
The game does not have a clear plot. The action takes place in the title land of traps. Four colorful kittens want to face the dangers and prove that there are no obstacles that could not be overcome thanks to the cleverness and agility of the cat.
The game is set for dynamic arcade sequences. As befits a 2D platformer, the player's task is to safely guide a controlled character through more than 100 scrolling boards. This requires, above all, skillful jumping between platforms, the use of various mechanisms (lifts, trampolines, etc.) and avoiding traps (cutting saws, blades, lasers and others).
The game offers several variants of fun, both in single and multi-player mode. A maximum of four players can participate in multiplayer gameplay via the Internet, competing or cooperating with each other. Relatively high level of difficulty (characters die very often and usually in a macabre way) is a clear tribute to more experienced lovers of platformers.
The visual setting of Bloody Trapland refers to the golden age of platformers released for 16-bit computers. Two-dimensional graphics used in the game are characterized by intense colors and simple animations. The party is accompanied by a dynamic soundtrack.
