Story

The story of the game tells the story of a girl named Cardia, who lives alone in a ruined house on the outskirts of London. The heroine has to live a lonely life and cannot fall in love with anyone, because her body is surrounded by an unknown poison, killing all living beings she touches. One day, however, the property is attacked by guardians of the law who intend to comprehend the Cardia. Arsene Lupin, a thief, helps her escape, and the protagonist sets off with him to look for her father who can help her.

During the journey the couple meets other characters known from novels and stories, including several attractive men. One of them is the vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing (Dracula Brama Stokera), the second scientist Victor Frankenstein (Frankenstein by Mary Shelley), the third Impey Barbicane (From the Earth to the Moon by Julius Verne), and the fourth Count Saint Germain (a figure modelled on a real, but very mysterious nobleman).
