A first person simulation game with an open world. ContractVille allows us to design and build our dream house, as well as to run our own company (solo or in coop mode). We can earn money as taxi drivers our couriers, and we invest the funds we collect in real estate we build ourselves.
ContractVille is a simulation game that allows us to experience what it's like to build a dream house. It also enables us to test ourselves in a range of professions. The game was developed by the independent team MYM Games Studios from Turkey.
In ContractVille we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The game gives us access to an open world, which we can freely explore.
The basis of the gameplay lies in the scheme known from building simulations, led by the House Flipper series. We can acquire our own piece of land in the fictional Creek Harbour (the "heart" of which is the town of Port Town) and build our dream house from scratch or renovate an existing building (which may involve the need to carry out demolition work).
We start the whole process by using a planner, in which we design the building, deciding on the layout of walls, doors and windows, the purpose of individual rooms and their equipment. We have nothing left to do but to proceed with the construction using various materials. We can additionally decorate a finished building, giving it a more personal "flair".
We need money to build our dream house, which we earn by providing various services to the residents of Port Town. We can become couriers delivering packages to their destinations, or earn as taxi drivers and transport people to the points they indicate on the map.
Our house is not the only thing we spend our hard-earned money on. Car dealerships and used car lots are waiting for customers, where we can purchase a vehicle that meets our individual needs or preferences. It's worth remembering that every car is suitable for something different, which is reflected in its bonus to earnings. For example, a delivery vehicle is not typically suitable as a taxi, while a passenger car is not the best choice for a courier.
As we progress, we accumulate experience and gradually improve the skills of our character. Over time, our company also develops, thanks to which we can become virtual sharks of business. Its splendor can be reflected in the headquarters that we are expanding, enriching it with wind turbines, warehouses and garages, as well as a cafe, swimming pool or basketball court.
The icing on the cake are the Go Green tasks, allowing us to take care of the environment. They involve placing plants, hanging posters, and promoting environmental care issues in other ways, as well as rescuing animals from oppression or fighting against vandals.
We can play ContractVille alone or in cooperative mode over the Internet with a maximum of 4 people. The game allows players to share duties and roles in the company (we can even appoint a president to manage the remaining participants of the game).
