Crystal Story: Dawn of Dusk is an old-school RPG with adventure elements. It was developed by an independent developer - Fred Brown.
The protagonist of Crystal Story: Dawn of Dusk is Mina, a young adventurer. Long ago, her brother was kidnapped by a demon, Termina, and vanished without a trace. While searching for him, she ends up in a destroyed, dangerous land of Duskside. To save her brother, she must learn the land's secrets and face the threats within.
Crystal Story: Dawn of Dusk makes use of the top-down perspective. Mina is adept at wielding fire magic, which she can make use of during turn-based combat, exploration and puzzle-solving. Aside from main quests, there are also numerous side quests.
Crystal Story: Dawn of Dusk features old-school, pixel art visuals. The game offers a special toggleable filter imitating a CRT screen, bringing the graphics closer to games from the 16-bit era.
