Cube Escape Collection is a collection of re-mastered versions of several classic browser point-and-click adventure games from the Rusty Lake studio, inspired by the famous Twin Peaks series. The package includes games such as Seasons, The Lake, Arles, Harvey’s Box, Case 23, The Mill, Birthday, Theatre and The Cave. The authors of the originals are responsible for the development and publication of the anthology.

Plot

In the games from the Cube Escape series we play the role of detective Dale Vandermeer, who is trying to find the murderer of a woman. By following the trail of a criminal, the man ends up in the strange, surreal world of Rusty Lake.

Mechanics

In the games from the Cube Escape series, the player's main task is to solve puzzles and to learn the main plot thread. Most often it requires clicking certain elements and objects on the screen (the games included in the package belong to the Escape the Room sub-genre, where the fun is to find an exit from the room by solving puzzles).

It is worth noting that the games included in the package have been enriched with the achievements (there are several dozen of them to be achieved).

We can play games that are part of Cube Escape Collection only alone. The core of the game is a feature campaign.

Technical aspects

The games from Cube Escape series have an original, two-dimensional graphic design, which is characterized by a strongly surrealistic atmosphere (it is visible primarily in unusual character and location designs). The graphics of the original, browser games have been refreshed and improved.
