Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven

In August 2022, an action game with roguelike elements entitled Cult of the Lamb made its debut on PCs and consoles. The position, which allowed us to take on the role of the titular lamb building his own sect from scratch, quickly won recognition from fans and industry media. Years later, the independent studio behind it, Massive Monster, prepared a feature-length expansion entitled Woolhaven.

New features in the add-on

Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven introduces a new story line. At its center is a forgotten sheep goddess named Yngya, who asks for our help in rebuilding her flock and restoring life to the mountain on which she resides. Things get complicated when our lamb discovers that the creatures inhabiting the summit and residing in two new dungeons (waiting to be visited, of course) have been warped by the rot hiding beneath the snow.

New dangers

Speaking of snow - the prevailing atmospheric conditions on the g?re pose a real threat to us. In addition to massive snowstorms, death can be brought to us by extremely low temperatures. There is no shortage of new enemies, including a wolf at the head of a pack, a dark creature inhabiting the local caves and ghosts roaming the frosty hills.

Buildings and farm

In addition to this, the described add-on brings new buildings that allow our cult members to keep warm. In addition, the DLC introduces the possibility of running a farm, where we breed animals that are a source of wool and warmth, as well as meat that allows us to survive the toughest moments. The latter we can ride and use as mounts.

Technical issues

Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven is a non-self-contained expansion, so it requires the basic version of the game Cult of the Lamb.
