Dragons are a common theme in games set in fantasy worlds, but few allow us to become riders of these creatures. One exception is Dragonhold from the independent studio Exis Games. This is an action RPG with strategy elements, where aerial battles involving winged reptiles play as important a role as exploring the world on the surface and expanding the base.

Gameplay

In Dragonhold the action is mostly viewed from a third-person perspective (TPP).

Loot expeditions and fighting opponents

The core of the gameplay consists of expeditions to the besieged region of Azarkeen in the land of Aval, where our main task is to eliminate opponents, including bosses. The game allows us to ride our dragon and engage in aerial combat, as well as participate in spectacular chases. However, we can also dismount our winged beast to delve into dungeons and face adversaries on foot.
