Life in the American countryside follows its own set of rules. One of them is having a car or at least knowing someone who can lend us their wheels or give us a ride when needed.

Driving Life is a production built around this theme, blending elements of car games and life simulations, where we take on the role of a professional driver. It was developed by the independent studio Chrysopy Games, and its release was handled by the Polish company PlayWay.

Gameplay

In Driving Life events are viewed from a first-person perspective (FPP) or from a camera placed behind the car.

Life in the American countryside

The game offers us an open world in the form of a remote American island. We arrive there as a protagonist barely making ends meet, who can only afford a modest motel room and junk food along with cheap drinks. At least, that's how his life looks at the beginning, but over time, fortune starts to smile upon him, and thanks to increasingly lucrative assignments, larger sums of money begin to flow into his account.

Cars and earning money

The core of the gameplay involves driving a car around the game world and completing assigned transport tasks. Initially, we only have a run-down vehicle with a manual transmission, requiring us to have the skills to operate the clutch and manipulate the gear stick.
