Second part of action game series with RPG elements, in which we play as Yang Yumo defending the city against invasion of demons called phantoms. In Dusk Diver 2 we travel through physical reality and parallel dimension, completing tasks and facing hordes of enemies.
Dusk Diver 2 is the second installment of the series of dynamic action games with RPG elements, launched in 2019. The game was developed by the authors of the original, the Wanin Games studio, while its release was handled by Justdan International.
The action of Dusk Diver 2 is set after the events presented in the first part of the series. During the game we once again play as Yang Yumo, who, after graduating from high school, began her studies. The protagonist has to face evil phantoms once again, using supernatural powers given to her by deities.
In Dusk Diver 2 the action is presented from the third person perspective (TPP). The heroine is able to move between the physical reality and a parallel dimension, where phantoms live. During the game we move through these locations and perform various tasks as well as face hordes of enemies. Clashes are dynamic and the key to success is combining attacks in spectacular combinations and skillful use of special blows. As we progress, we gain new experience levels and increase the combat potential of the protagonist.
The graphic design of Dusk Diver 2 is kept in the manga style known from the original.

Game Ratings for Dusk Diver 2 Video Game.
PlayStation Universe: 8 / 10 by Garri Bagdasarov
Dusk Diver 2 delivers a much-improved sequel. Though its story takes some time to get going, its execution bears weight, especially in the second half of the game. With great exploration and combat, which allows you to take control of all your party members this time around, Dusk Diver 2 provides a steep challenge with plenty of content to sink your teeth into.
Nintendo Life: 5 / 10 by Scott McCrae
Dusk Diver 2, like the first game, has potential; the cast of characters and storyline are both engaging, and the world could definitely host more interesting stories in the future. However, this sequel sadly fumbles things on the gameplay front, with a disappointing mixture of damage-sponge enemies and drawn-out encounters. While we didn't enjoy Dusk Diver 2 as much as we had hoped, there is something there - a kernel of potential as yet unrealised - and there are going to be people who absolutely adore it despite its faults. For us, a potential Dusk Diver 3 will hopefully boast combat engaging enough to match the writing on display here.
Hardcore Gamer: 3 / 5 by Jeremy Peeples
Dusk Diver 2 shows a notable improvement over the original by adding a second playable character to switch between in-battle at any point, but doesn't improve the formula enough to be a must-have for anyone who didn't love the original.
