Edge Islands is an independent game created by Serge Lages, combining strategic colony building with a tactical RPG featuring turn-based combat. We enter a randomly generated fantasy world and explore dungeons full of monsters and treasures.

Gameplay

In Edge Islands we manage teams of heroes whose class skills are developed through the construction of training facilities. In preparation for exploring beast-filled dungeons, we gather resources and breed animals and plants, while simultaneously facing changing weather conditions and seasons. Apart from furnishing the established facilities, we create weapons, potions and other items, and finally recruit new members.

Four-person groups are sent on dangerous expeditions and they participate in turn-based tactical battles, the course of which depends on the placement of units and the synergy of their unique fighting styles. We can unlock new buildings and expand our domain with the gold obtained in the dungeons.
