Elements is an action RPG, enriched with numerous adventure game elements. Game was developed by independent studio Wreckit Games.

Plot

Elements takes us on a journey to a colourful, fantastic world. Two main characters are siblings, who find themselves here in search of eight Elemental Stones. The protagonists hope that when they find them all, they will be able to restore balance both in this world and in their own.

Mechanics

In Elements the action is presented from a third person perspective (TPP). Game provides us with a vast open world. We can find there both picturesque plains and thick forests, as well as ice-bound wastelands or sandy deserts. We travel through it on foot or on the back of various creatures, which can be tamed.

During the game we complete various tasks and solve inventive puzzles. Moreover, we often have to fight against enemies. During dynamic clashes a big role play not only combat skills of our character and weapon wielded by him (we fight with both cold weapons and using bows), but also our dexterity and reflexes. In addition to the regular enemies on our way there are powerful bosses. Although their elimination sometimes requires a lot of effort, the game is worth it. They guard the access to the Stones that give the protagonists the power over other elements, and thus significantly increase their combat potential.

As we progress we develop our heroes, acquiring new skills and improving the ones we already have, as well as getting better equipment. In addition, along the way we acquire resources, which can be used both to produce new equipment and implement various improvements, as well as to build settlements. They serve as bases, fast travel points, as well as places where we can rest from the hardships of the great adventure, cultivating the land or sitting around the campfire.

Game modes

Elements can be played solo or with another player in split-screen co-op mode.

Technical aspects

The graphic design of Elements is kept in a colourful, cartoon style.
