Empires Shall Fall PC

Empires Shall Fall is a turn-based strategy, which is the debut project of the independent Russian studio Weird Penguin Games. The creators of the game were inspired by the classics of the genre, especially the Advance Wars series.

Plot

Empires Shall Fall takes us on a journey to a dieselpunk world. Two forces are fighting for its domination - the Black Empire and the Blue League. The game allows us to choose which side of the conflict we support. We must lead it to victory, ending a long, brutal war.

Mechanics

In Empires Shall Fall we watch the action from a bird's eye view. During the gameplay, we lead our army through various maps, accomplishing the tasks assigned to us, capturing encountered units and structures, and eliminating enemy forces.

The clashes take place in turn-based mode, and during the battles the screen is divided into two parts, which present a close-up view of the units taking part in the skirmishes. To achieve success on the battlefield, we must skillfully use the abilities of individual units and their strengths, as well as aim at the weak points of adversaries.

In addition to the infantry, we have all kinds of vehicles and machines at our disposal, including tanks. There are occasional duels with bosses, who surpass regular units in terms of size, resistance to damage, and firepower. As we progress, we develop our subordinates, which allows us to face increasingly greater challenges over time.

Game modes

Empires Shall Fall allows to play alone or in multiplayer. Within the so-called "hot seat" we can both cooperate and compete with other players. The game offers three story campaigns.

The graphics of Empires Shall Fall are in a cartoon style.
