Esotericism: Techno-Assassin of the Future is a third party action game (TPP), produced by Mobeus Designs. The action was set in the future, and the player directs the actions of a soldier of a special unit, who must stop terrorists planning to destroy the Esoteria and its colonies.
Esotericism: Techno-Assassin of the Future is the only game in the output of Mobeus Designs, which no longer exists. Production is sometimes considered to be one of the protoplasts of modern "stealthy".
The action of the game was set in the future. Terrorists manage to steal nuclear weapons, a deadly threat to the land of Esoteria and its colonies. Only a well-trained special agent, equipped with an ultra-modern combat suit, can put an end to the danger, and is transported to a hostile base.
The game combines elements of TPP shooting and sneaking. In directing the main character's actions, the player must avoid an open fight, which usually results in the death of the character very quickly. Silent elimination of enemies and the use of the element of surprise give a much better chance of success of the mission.
Visual setting Esoteria: Techno-Assassin of the Future does not differ from the standards of action games from the mid-1990s. The creators decided to use three-dimensional graphics and view from the third person's perspective (with a camera placed behind the protagonist's back).
