Euro Truck Simulator 2: Scandinavian Expansion is the second expansion for the popular truck-driving simulator. As the name suggest, the add-on allows the players to drive through the roads of Scandinavia.
Scandinavian Expansion extends the game area of the basic version of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and the Going East! expansion with three Scandinavian countries. As the drivers of virtual trucks, we will visit 19 cities of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, including Copenhagen, Oslo, Bergen, Kristiansand, Malmo and Karlskrona. The most important sites and buildings were carefully modeled on the basis of authentic photographs, these include the headquarters of such truck manufacturers as Scania in Södertälje, West of Stockholm, as well as Volvo, next to Gothenburg. Since trade in Scandinavia is based on sea transport to a large extent, the players often have to arrive at ports to load cargo. The expansion also adds new kinds of roads and crossroads, and also new sorts of trailers and cargo.
Scandinavia was faithfully modeled in Scandinavian Expansion. Apart from famous cities and buildings, the players may feast their eyes on beautiful mountain scenery and struggle against harsh weather conditions characteristic of the aforementioned region.
