A third-person adventure game with elements of an agricultural life simulation. In Everdream Valley we can play as a young protagonist, showing up in the titular valley and helping the grandpa to run the farm. We can also experience various adventures, including fantasy-themed ones.
In 2023, the Polish studio Mooneaters released Everdream Valley - an adventure game with elements of a farming life simulation. It achieved such a great success that the company behind it decided to prepare its sequel in the form of Everdream Village.
In Everdream Village we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP).
The game takes us to a magical archipelago, the heart of which is a settlement developed by us. A village is not only the buildings we erect, but also the characters that inhabit it. We can engage with them in various interactions, taking care of their moods and needs (by performing quests assigned by them), as well as developing relationships (which can end up in falling in love).
Running our own farm also plays an important role here - apart from taking care of animals, we also need to cultivate the land. Characters who are fond of us can help us with work on the farm. Additionally, the game allows us to modify the terrain sculpture. By creating rivers and hills or digging caves, we can gain access to rare resources and treasures. We can also spend time cooking and fishing.
From time to time, it is worth leaving our home and going on a journey through the archipelago. Visits to the islands are an opportunity to learn about their ecosystems, as well as to gather resources that allow for the development of our headquarters.
On individual patches of land, we can find exotic and domestic animals diversified in terms of features, which we can crossbreed with each other, creating unique varieties. Interestingly, the game also allows us to take direct control over our pets.
