Farm is a time management strategy game. Players have the opportunity to help a couple of teenage heroes to bring a small farm to heyday. The production of Rhema Press in Koszalin is addressed mainly to customers from the so-called casual market (occasional players).
Farm is another low-budget proposal in the Play Publishing Publishing's catalogue addressed to a group of less demanding players from the casual market. The title was produced by the Koszalin company Rhema Press.
The action of the game takes place on a small farm. A declining household was in the hands of a couple of enterprising owners - Janek and Ania (the player can choose which character he wants to take on), who are eager to start working.
As befits a casual time-management strategy, the player's task is first and foremost to coordinate all activities in a timely manner. On a virtual farm you can grow several varieties of plants (corn, pumpkins and tomatoes) and animals (hens, pigs, cows) at the same time. Money obtained from the sale of products on the local market allows to invest in new buildings, machinery and equipment, as well as additional plants and animals.
The gameplay is characterized by considerable dynamics. With the development of the farm, the tasks faced by the player are becoming more and more difficult to complete. There is also a growing degree of complication in coordinating activities (e.g. more frequent threat from wild hogs).
The farm is characterized by simple, three-dimensional graphics maintained in cartoon style. The party is colourful with short, animated interludes, which illustrate the events on the farm in a humorous tone. Simplicity of the user interface and lack of violence elements make the production to the liking of younger players.
