Forest 3

In 2014, a survival game with horror elements titled The Forest debuted in early access on PC. It quickly gathered a large fan base, allowing its creators to spread their wings and prepare version 1.0 (which was released on PC in April 2018), as well as develop its port for PlayStation 4 (released in November 2018).

In February 2023, the sequel to this title, Sons of the Forest, entered early access on PC, and its full version was released less than a year later. In December 2025, during The Game Awards ceremony, Endnight Games announced the third installment under this brand.

Forest 3, as this game is called, takes us to an alien planet where we fight for survival in a hostile environment dominated by threatening fauna and flora. The game allows the use of a futuristic energy pistol and even a mechanical grappling hook. The latter enables relatively safe interactions with environmental elements that are better not touched with bare hands.
