Platformer referring to the classics of the genre like Super Mario. In Furwind, we take on the role of a fox that tries to stop the threat from the sinister Darhun. In the game we cross different levels, avoid traps and fight against adversaries. As progress progresses, the combat potential of the protagonist grows, allowing it to face ever-increasing challenges over time.
Furwind is a platform action game inspired mainly by the Rayman and Super Mario series. The title was developed by an independent Boomfire Games studio.
Furwind takes us to a fantastic world, over which the spectre of doom hung. The sinister Darhun, who was behind bars for hundreds of years, was liberated by his followers and began a devastating march. He destroyed the village of the protagonist, the young fox Furwind, who was asked by the clan leader to find a way to stop Darhun. Our protégé goes on a dangerous journey through the forest...
In Furwind, the action is shown from the side. While exploring colorful, diverse levels (we can visit them in a chosen order), we jump on platforms, avoid traps, and fight against opponents, among which lead powerful bosses. We eliminate enemies by beating them with the tail or jumping on their heads. As we progress, we gain three magical skills, thanks to which we not only do better in combat, but we can also get to places previously inaccessible to us. In addition, we can improve Furwind's abilities by visiting the specialist Korvo shop.
Furwind has colorful, two-dimensional graphics made in pixel art technique. The game is played with the accompaniment of a catchy soundtrack creating the atmosphere of a great adventure.

Game Ratings for Furwind Video Game.
Nintendo Life: 6 / 10 by Oliver Reynolds
With gorgeous pixellated graphics and a charming, uplifting soundtrack, Furwind is a delight to behold. Unfortunately, with some awkward controls and a lack of any original, engaging ideas, it falls short of being truly great, if only because the Switch is already home to some stellar platforming games that comfortably outshine this workmanlike effort. Still, if you're a fan of the genre and you're looking for something to keep you busy during the summer months, Furwind's impressive stage variation and challenging difficulty make it worth a look.
Culture of Gaming: 6 / 10
In conclusion, Furwind is a bland, forgettable 2D platformer and it’s hard to point out some outstanding features. With all it’s flaws, there are some positive things such as the music. I can’t picture myself going back to this game more than once when I finish it, especially with other great indie games out there at the moment.
NintendoWorldReport: 7.5 / 10 by Casey Gibson
Level design and variety are wonderful, continuing to stay fresh throughout. However in contrast, the enemy design was a let down due to a small pool of enemies. Fun boss battles and the cutest protagonist ever do help to mitigate the shortcomings resulting in a brisk and enjoyable experience.
