A refreshed version of the popular TPP game from 2002. Star Wars: Bounty Hunter allows us to play as the famous Jango Fett who receives a new dangerous mission from Count Dooku. There are nearly 20 levels in the game in which we fight and deal with various obstacles.
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is a third-person action game. It is a refreshed version of the game with the same title released in 2002 for PlayStation 2 and GameCube consoles. The production was handled by Aspyr studio, responsible for other modernized games from the Star Wars universe, such as: Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
In the game we play as the bounty hunter Jango Fett, who we may recognize from the second episode of the movie saga. The action of the game takes place before the movie's story and is set between the first and second episode.
While carrying out minor missions involving tracking down criminals and debtors, Jango is contacted by Darth Tyranus (also known as Count Dooku). He offers a generous reward in exchange for the capture of former Jedi Master Bango Gor. The bounty hunter accepts the mission despite the fact that no other hunter has managed to accomplish it.
The game is divided into 18 missions, which are located on 6 different worlds, including Tatooine and Coruscant.
In order to complete individual missions, we use the hunter's physical fitness to fight hand-to-hand, run, jump and climb various platforms. We can rely on helpful weapons and gadgets from our arsenal, such as flamethrowers, double blasters and a jet backpack that allows us to take part in short-distance flights.
Each mission is also an opportunity to meet characters with whom we have the opportunity to cooperate and talk. Over a hundred characters appear in the game, including some known from the movies.
The audio and the visuals in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter have not changed compared to the original from 2002. However, modern technical changes have been added, such as Steam Deck and DualSense support (we can use adaptive triggers on the controller).

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter finally made it to PC and was received better than Battlefront Classic Collection. Mainly, because of the lack of (broken) multiplayer.

Game Ratings for Star Wars: Bounty Hunter Video Game.
TechRaptor: 5 / 10 by Austin Suther
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter isn't a good game, nor is it necessarily bad, but its age shows as you play through its campaign. Not only that, but the port quality and terrible camera controls leave a lot to be desired.
Push Square: 7 / 10 by Issy van der Velde
Overall, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter missed an opportunity to add much-needed polish, but if you want to revisit a childhood classic, you’ll be happy with this faithful remaster.
ZTGD: 6 / 10 by Ken McKown
The biggest issue with Bounty Hunter is that it is a game of its time. The level design and navigation are frustrating, levels are too long, and the lack of save anywhere can get tedious at times. I did enjoy the added content such as the Boba Fett skin, but it just wasn’t enough to make this feel like a proper remaster. This is a hard game to recommend if you don’t have massive nostalgia for it. It wasn’t heralded when it came out, and that hasn’t changed with this re-release.
