The independent studio Nukefist was founded in 2019. When working on their first fully original project, Spanish developers helped in creating the game Mika and the Witch’s Mountain which was released in January 2025. Their first independently developed work, however, is the slasher described here titled Genokids. Its creation was made possible partially thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.

Gameplay

In Genokids we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP).

Musicians to the rescue

The game tells the story of the members of the titular music band, whose biggest concert in history ended in disaster when Earth was attacked by the Infinite Empire of Zenodia. The protagonists, namely Red, Blue, Green and Yellow, must face the invaders, because otherwise their future careers will hang by a thread.

Combat

While traversing the devastated city of Las Divas, we mainly engage in fights with opponents. The battles are dynamic, and during them we must demonstrate agility and reflexes, skillfully juggling attacks and linking them into spectacular combinations.
