A new version of the Gigantic game, combining elements of action TPP and MOBA titles and focusing on online play. Gigantic: Rampage Edition introduces a bunch of new features, including new characters and arenas, as well a brand new mode allowing for faster gameplay.
Gigantic: Rampage Edition is a new version of the game called Gigantic, enriched with additional content. The original was a MOBA type production released in 2017, implemented in the form of an online action game. Unlike the original, which was backed by Motiga studio (founded by former employees of companies such as Blizzard Entertainment, NCSoft, ArenaNet, Monolith and Sierra), the new version was developed by the Abstraction Games team.
In Gigantic: Rampage Edition we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game transports us to a fantasy world, and its main attraction are battles fought by two five-person teams. During the game the players have to defend their own giant who accompanies their team and supports them in battle, as well as eliminate the enemy giant that helps the opponents. The team that manages to knock down the enemy giant first, while keeping their own giant alive, wins.
The game gives us a wide range of characters that we can play. They are differentiated in terms of appearance, skills, fighting style, and strengths and weaknesses. In addition to the characters known from the original version of the game, previously unavailable heroes like Roland and Kajir are now playable. As we progress, we unlock not only new characters, but also various cosmetics that modify their appearance. Battles take place on various arenas, including new maps - Picaro Bay and Heaven's Ward.
Although Gigantic: Rampage Edition allows to play alone, the game was created primarily for online multiplayer. In addition to the basic Clash mode, there is a new module as well called Rush, where the gameplay is faster and more accessible. Additionally, the ability to create your own games based on unique rules has been implemented. The game supports cross-platform functionality.
