Crisalu Games is an independent Argentine-Uruguayan development studio. In their debut project, an adventure game titled Goblin Cleanup, the developers are trying to answer the question of what happens in fantasy dungeons when the heroes leave them. As it turns out, this is when hardworking goblins step into action, who bustle about as if in a hot spot, to prepare the dungeons for the visit of the next heroes.

Gameplay

In Goblin Cleanup we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Cleaning dungeons

We play as the aforementioned goblins, and our task is to clean up the mess left by the heroes, operating in procedurally generated dungeons.

We mop the floors, reconstruct damaged objects and place them in the right places, as well as restore traps so they can be activated again. It is also our responsibility to fill the crates with useful and valuable items.

Avoiding dangers

We must be vigilant in this, as the heroes do not always manage to disable all the traps set for them, and their activation could end tragically for us. The situation is similar with monsters lurking in the dungeons, which we must feed so that we ourselves do not end up as food for them.
