Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising is the second installment of the fighting game series originating from 2020, set in the Granblue Fantasy universe. It was developed by the creators of its predecessor, and veterans of the genre, Arc System Works, responsible for series such as Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. It was published by Cygames.

Plot

Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising takes place in a fantasy world of islands floating in the sky and special ships used to travel between them. In addition to the story campaign from the previous installment, in which we follow the tale of a hero searching for his missing father (while assisted by faithful companions - a small dragon named Vyrm and a girl named Lyria), the game also offers an entirely new story.
