Heaven vs. Hell is a real-time strategy taking place on Earth in a very distant future. It tells the story of a titanic war between the human race, divine forces and hellish forces. The reason for this Armagedon was the arrogance of our race. In 2752 mankind became so technologically developed that it was able to freely manipulate time and space, thus disturbing the divine vision of the world. So the Almighty decided to give up what he had created so far and start all over again. Here, the Devil himself interfered in the matter, who, not wanting to lose his influence in the world, stood in front of the Heavens and sent his hosts to fight. Somewhere between these forces are the people themselves, i.e. the people who, not intending to look at the outcome of the war with their hands put on, join the war themselves.

As we can see, in Heaven vs. Hell players can take command of one of the three factions, and for each of them a separate campaign has been prepared. In total, it should take about sixty hours to complete the crossing. It is obvious that each side of the conflict is diametrically different, and its aspirations are different in relation to wild people (called "primates"), who in Heaven vs. Hell play the role of one of the three raw materials (the other two are sulphur and farms). The forces of hell want to incarnate them into the legions of the condemned, the armies of heaven try to save and save them, and the people want to understand them and use them as slaves. Just like in the classic RTS, here too, we are building bases that are the centre of our missionary forces. As in the Warcraft and Kohan series, for example, the construction of certain buildings affects the area around them. Therefore, the hell bases are accompanied by burnt and destroyed earth, and the angelic ones by truly paradise views. Thanks to modern graphics (Eden engine), using technologies such as "Pixel Shaders 3.0" or dynamic lighting and shading, terrain transformations, as well as the course of combat, they evoke positive visual experiences.

Heaven vs. Hell offers players diametrically different challenges depending on the side they decide to command. Each has a different range of buildings (e.g. Crypt of Despair or Pool of Eternal Pain) and a military consisting of about eighteen types of troops (which gives a total number of nearly 60). Up to 2,000 units can be seen on the screen during the skirmishes, including giant flying demons, succubus, hell worms, angelic archers and proud cavalry in shining armour, as well as special and exceptionally strong heroes such as the Archangel Gabriel or the Messiah.

Apart from the one-man mode, the authors from the TKO Software studio offered us the possibility of a multiplayer game for up to 16 people on the local network and on the Internet. Decent editor and tools for creating various modifications are also a nice addition.
