Mechanics

Heavenworld is a game that focuses on the freedom of play. Before the start of the actual adventure, the player can adjust more than eighty different session parameters (e.g. the character's abilities, the conditions of survival, the tasks to be performed and the mutual relations of the individual factions). The game also allows you to save specific layouts. Then the player is moved to the map to play according to the conditions he or she defines.

The creators implemented a map editor, which allows you to create your own environment to play.

Heavenworld offers a number of mechanics, whose degree of presence in the game depends on the player's decision. During the exploration of the world, resources are collected (while trying to avoid death at the hands of zombies). The items collected in this way help to meet basic needs (e.g. hunger, health and thirst) of the guided hero. They also enable the creation of objects by means of a craft panel.

Over time, the player recruits surviving NPCs into his team, which he must then manage. Each team gathers experience over time. After reaching the next level, he can learn a new ability that will help the survival of the whole team.

During the adventure, the player will encounter several factions. Each of them has its own camp and collects resources on its own. Their attitude towards a player changes dynamically and depends on their behaviour during the adventure.

An important role in the adventure is played by artificial intelligence, which includes the role of the game master. In the course of the game, it determines the degree of difficulty and various random events.
