Heavy Fire: Red Shadow

Heavy Fire: Red Shadow is a three-dimensional arcade rail shooter. The production takes place in an unknown war theatre. The player takes on the role of a soldier operating a stationary heavy machine gun (and sometimes also a rocket launcher). Mastiff is responsible for the creation of this title.

Mechanics

Heavy Fire: Red Shadow is a rail shooter - the player does not move but acts as a stationary operator of a heavy machine gun that can rotate in any direction. Our task is, of course, to eliminate subsequent waves of enemies. From time to time - when bigger enemies appear on the screen - we are also forced to use a rocket launcher or call for support in the form of elite infantry units, fighters or helicopters, among others.

Game modes

Heavy Fire: Red Shadow features single-player mode only. The game includes a campaign consisting of several interconnected missions, but if we want, we can also choose to play in the "infinite" mode, in which enemies will appear until we are defeated. Our results are recorded in a special ranking.

Technical aspects

Heavy Fire: Red Shadow features an attractive three-dimensional visuals. Both the models of the environment and characters, as well as textures are of decent quality, but the physics system, which enables dynamic destruction of the environment, makes a particularly good impression. PC and PS4 versions have support for virtual reality technology.
