Hidden Dragon: Legend for PC and PS4 is a 2.5D platform game developed by MegaFun Games and published by the Chinese company Oasis Games.
Plot
The game is set in a fantasy version of ancient China where historically accurate elements where combined with legends and beliefs of that period.
Story focuses on the powerful magial object, the Dragon Cauldron, that provides its owner with superuman abilities for the price of his or her sanity. We play as a warrior who, as a result of the machinations of a mysterious organization, was turned into a mindless killing machine with the help of that artifact. When he finally regains control over his body and mind he decides have his revenge on those who used him.
Mechanics
Hidden Dragon: Legend for PC and PS4 is a 2.5D platform game where we explore vast maps, avoid traps and obstacles, collect itemst, and fight with hordes of enemies. The game heavily focuses on combat and has a complex combat system that allows us to do many kinds of moves, special attacks, and combo strikes.
The game’s campaign is enriched by boss fights and occasional logical riddles. We will also find a character progression mechanic here that will allow us to improve our hero’s abilities. In addition to that, we collect more and more powerful items as we play and the so-called soul stones that unlock new combos.
Technical Aspects
Hidden Dragon: Legend has high quality visuals and uses Unreal Engine 4 and offers interesting character and location design inspired by the Chinese folklore.
