Honor of Kings: World is an online action RPG with an open world. The game is a spin-off of the popular mobile MOBA Honor of Kings, in Europe working under the title Arena of Valor. It was developed by Chinese studio TiMi, the team responsible for Call of Duty Mobile and Pokemon Unite.
Liu Cixin, the Chinese writer known for The Three-Body Problem, an award-winning science fiction novel, took part in the work on the game. He helped with the storyline and made sure the game provides a unique perspective on Chinese culture.
The game is set in a magical fantasy land known from Honor of Kings. It tells the story of a young warrior (or warrioress, as the game lets you choose between multiple characters) who goes to an academy specializing in training heroes, located in the land of Jixia. Before joining the academy, however, hero has to pass a demanding exam.
Honor of Kings: World is an online action RPG. We explore a huge open world and fight against countless enemies using an arcade combat system. The player controls only a single hero directly, but in clashes he is supported by fellow heroes, directed by artificial intelligence or other users.
Between fights we explore the world, perform tasks and develop the hero's abilities. We can go on missions alone or in small groups. Cities, on the other hand, allow us to interact with large crowds of users.
Honor of Kings: World is an online game and gameplay requires an Internet connection. However, the players can complete quests alone if they want to.
Honor of Kings: World offers attractive 3D graphics. The game world combines fantasy elements with Chinese mythology, resulting in a visually interesting end result.
