HYKE: Northern Light(s)

Akatsuki Games is a Japanese development studio, with projects such as Tribe Nine or Kaiju No. 8 The Game in its portfolio. In collaboration with the Blast Edge Games team, the same studio prepared the action RPG titled HYKE: Northern Light(s).

Gameplay

In HYKE: Northern Light(s) we watch the events from a bird's eye view.

Journey in the footsteps of the missing mother

The game transports us to a world devastated by a war between humans and witches. The main character of the game is the titular Hyke, a young silver-haired girl who travels the world in search of her long-lost mother, who is a powerful witch. When the protagonist arrives in a land called the Forbidden Areas, she meets a witch named Metheos, who guards this place. In this way, our protagonist is drawn into a whirlwind of events, during which she will fulfill her destiny.

Hyke and her companions

In HYKE: Northern Light(s) we can play as both Hyke and the witches accompanying her. The playable witches were differentiated in terms of personality, abilities, preferred weapons, as well as strengths and weaknesses. We gain access to new witches as we progress, gradually assembling a team in this way.

Adventures and camping

We explore locations and complete various quests, as well as eliminate opponents standing in our way, with whom we engage in dynamic battles.
