Idle games are productions where progress occurs automatically (meaning even when we are not actively engaged in gameplay). Among them, we can find representatives of various genres. The RPG genre of this type is represented by IdleOn described here, created by an independent developer LavaFlame2. The game is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions and also offers MMO elements.

In IdleOn we start by creating a team of characters and then we send them into the world.

Automatic adventures of the team

The adventure continues constantly, even when we are not directly participating. Our characters explore the fantasy world on their own, engage in conversations with its inhabitants, complete missions, fight opponents, and face powerful bosses. Our role mainly involves collecting the profits from their activities and preparing them for future expeditions. This is complemented by various mini-games.

Character classes and abilities

The protagonists represent professions that vary in terms of preferred equipment, fighting style, and skills. For example, we can lead an elemental wizard or a pirate into battle. In addition to combat-related abilities, the heroes master other useful "skills," such as mining, blacksmithing, alchemy, fishing, or woodcutting. Furthermore, we enhance the potential of our characters by crafting new equipment for them – from rings and helmets to weapons.
